3 steps to double-glazing heaven:

Step 1.

We will visit your home, at your convenience, and carry out a comprehensive measured survey of every external door and window. (It may be that at present you only wish to replace a few items, but you can always keep the rest of your details back for later quotes).

If you wish to change the size of your openings, or perhaps put in a bay, add a front porch or any other alterations, just tell the surveyor and he will include it in your plans at not extra charge.

You will then receive three copies of these itemised plans as part of your report.

Step 2.

Discuss with our surveyor your 'wish list' of designs for inclusion in your package. It may be that you require to make as little change as possible to the character of your property, and as such it is important, for example, that such things as equal sightlines are understood by you and your prospective supplier, just look up and down your street and it would be a good bet that some properties are losing value and looks by unsympathetic replacement windows.

It may be that you require more light in certain areas, fewer or more openings, leaded or Georgian designs, or a host of other items.

Your survey report is fully itemised so you can compare these costs at your leisure.

Step 3.

Choose three potential suppliers from anywhere you like: Yellow Pages, local papers, recommendation from a friend, or a leaflet that comes through your door, and we will supply you with a full independent Companies House report (providing of course that they are actually registered with Companies House for trading).

This gives you, amongst other things, an insight into their trading history, their financial background, and their true company format, you will also, through the forum, be able to confirm their current status with claimed British Standards or Trade organisations.
